Academic Personnel On-Line Available Now

I am pleased to announce that Academic Personnel On-Line, Phase I, is now available for processing 2009-2010 academic review files (actions effective July 1, 2010).

Phase I allows electronic processing of files for which deans have final authority. This includes most merit and merit/reappointment files for the General Campus and Health Sciences.

AP On-Line is intended to provide an efficient, effective way to prepare and process academic review files. It will also help ensure compliance with University review policy and safeguard academic appointees’ rights, and will provide for electronic storage of review files.

A list of the actions that can be processed online for various series in Phase I can be found on the Academic Personnel Services Web site at http://academicaffairs.ucsd.edu/aps/apol/apolinfo.htm

Also available on the Web site are an easy-to-follow manual and a schedule of training classes offered through Staff Education.
