SUBJECT:    UC San Diego Web Design Templates Now Available

The Campus Web Office, in collaboration with University Communications & Public Affairs and Administrative Computing & Telecommunications, has created a set of Web site design templates that can be used by academic and administrative units across campus utilizing the latest UC San Diego brand identity.

What are the templates?

The UC San Diego Web templates are a comprehensive toolkit that includes ready-to-use, XHTML-compliant Web page samples, along with all corresponding graphics, content elements, and styles needed to create a standalone Web site utilizing your department’s own Web server or the Campus Web Content Management System (CMS). This CMS has templates built in and should make managing your Web site content even easier.

Why use the templates?

UC San Diego's Web templates give Web developers across campus an easy way to build pages and support the UC San Diego brand.

Why use the UC San Diego brand?

Applying the UC San Diego brand will strengthen the consistency of UC San Diego’s identity throughout our communications to the university’s many constituents. This will, in turn, increase the impact of our visibility locally, nationally, and globally.

If you have any questions or want to learn more about making your content available via the Campus Web Content Management System, please contact the Campus Web Office at campusweboffice@ucsd.edu.
