H1N1 Influenza Virus - Campus Preparedness

UC San Diego is taking steps to limit the spread of flu within our campus community. As you know, the H1N1 Influenza virus is now widely spread, but the illness remains relatively mild and is similar to seasonal flu.

Flu can be passed easily from person to person. Therefore, we are taking steps to limit the spread of flu at UC San Diego. We are working closely with the San Diego County Department of Health and Human Services to monitor flu conditions and make decisions about prudent steps to take regarding flu preparedness.
