CONSTRUCTION ALERT – East Campus Road Work

Project Description/Location:

Road work will be occurring at the Intersection of Medical Center Drive South and Medical Center Drive West beginning November 8th through mid-December 2010. This is a multi-phased project that will consist of varying lane closures.

Immediate Street Impacts:

The on-street parking along Medical Center Drive South will be closed during this timeframe and alternate parking lot locations include P702, P703 and P704.

Two-way traffic flow will be maintained during at all times with the use of flagmen, however, expect delays during Medical Center Staff shift change peaks when using Medical Center Drive South to access the campus. We encourage drivers to access Lot P753 (the staff lot behind Thornton Hospital) from Medical Center Drive North during the morning shift change hours to alleviate congestion and mitigate delays.

Sidewalks on the South side of Thornton Hospital will have limited access and signage will be posted. For your convenience the area of roadwork and recommended paths of travel are shown on the attached graphic.
