SUBJECT:    New Procedure for Obtaining Medical Treatment for
Work-Related Injuries

Although work-related injuries are not an everyday occurrence within individual work units at UC San Diego, it is important to know where to seek medical treatment when a work-related injury does occur. We realize the potential for concerns and uncertainty following a work-related injury and the need to quickly access care. To ensure prompt and well coordinated attention in the event of an injury, UC San Diego employees must seek medical treatment at one of two UC San Diego Center for Occupational & Environmental Medicine (COEM) clinics, unless the incident requires emergency care (911) or treatment is needed after COEM hours of operation.

Use the COEM clinic most convenient to your work location, main campus or Hillcrest:
