SUBJECT:    Formal Review - Proposed Catastrophic Leave Donation Program

UC San Diego in support of the University's Absence From Work Policy 2.210 and the applicable collective bargaining agreements has revised the Catastrophic Leave Donation Program. This program affords eligible employees the opportunity to donate accrued vacation hours to eligible employees on leave due to a catastrophic event who are either not eligible for the University or employee paid disability or have exhausted their leave accruals during the University or employee paid disability waiting period.

Employees who would like to comment on the proposed revised program should e-mail their comments by January 6, 2012 to worklife@ucsd.edu.
