ADMISSIONS AND ENROLLMENT SERVICES December 6, 2011
ALL ACADEMICS, STAFF AND STUDENTS AT UCSD
Admit Day connects with Open House to yield "Triton Day," a showcase of UC San Diego as an all-community living laboratory for learning, research and development. We encourage you to keep this date in mind as you plan your events and activities for the Spring Quarter. Newly admitted freshmen and their families are invited to experience firsthand the UC San Diego campus, its undergraduate colleges, academic departments, services and student organizations during the students' important college decision-making period. The Open House program elements will complement those of Admit Day with interactive displays and demonstrations, entertainment, and children's activities, so that future Triton families can experience the endless opportunities at UC San Diego. We expect this collaborative event to bring over 15,000 prospective students, parents and community members onto the campus for a day of educational and fun activities highlighting every aspect of our campus. If you are not already a part of the planning process, we invite you to participate. If you would like to know more about how your unit can be involved, contact Jenelle Dean (jmdean@ucsd.edu / 858-822-1052) or Michelle Corcoran (mcorcoran@ucsd.edu / 858-822-2121).
