SUBJECT:   CONSTRUCTION ALERT - East Campus Roadwork Update: WORK TO START June 1, 2011

Project Description/Location:
The East Campus Utility Infrastructure Construction project is progressing and will be moving into another area. Construction along Medical Center Drive (North), in front of Shiley Eye Center, will occur from June 1, 2011 through October 1, 2011. During this timeframe, only one lane will be open and traffic will flow one way. Parking lots P760 and P751 will remain open and should be accessed via Campus Point Drive. Vehicles exiting the area will be directed to Medical Center Drive (North) and Health Sciences Drive. Flagmen will be provided and additional signage will be posted so that patients, visitors and staff can navigate through the work areas. MTS bus and Campus shuttle services will not be impacted.

Immediate Street Impacts:
Beginning Monday, June 1, 2011 Medical Center Drive (North) in front of Shiley Eye Center will have one lane open to one way directional traffic as above. Parking lots P751 and P760 will remain open during the duration of construction.
