A paid Emergency Day is being provided to UC San Diego staff who were scheduled to work on Friday, September 9, 2011, but could not due to the closure of the campus.
Staff members who worked as scheduled during the closure will be paid for the time worked and will receive one day of paid leave subject to the approval of their supervisors. The day must be used by staff no later than March 31, 2012 and scheduled with supervisory approval.
Discussions regarding a proposed program for staff represented by unions are occurring at this time. Further information will be forthcoming.
