The University is proposing to revise Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM 70) - Complaint Resolution in order to clarify the process for resolving complaints made by employees in the Professional & Support Staff and Managers & Senior Professionals salary grades I - VII personnel groups.
The revisions are intended to better define the rights and responsibilities of both the employee and the University during the complaint resolution process. New sections have been added to the proposed policy, including: informal complaint resolution, early complaint resolution (career employees only), withdrawal of a complaint, failure to participate, remedy, and, conflict of interest.
The revised policy is posted on the At Your Service website under "Proposed Policies and Programs" at: http://atyourservice.ucop.edu/employees/policies_employee_labor_relations
