Formal Review - Extension of Employee-Initiated Reduction in Time (ERIT) Program

The University is proposing to extend the Employee-Initiated Reduction in Time (ERIT) Program through June 30, 2014.

The proposed program allows career staff employees, with the exception of Senior Managers, to voluntarily reduce their percentage of appointment and pay in order for the University to achieve salary savings. For exclusively represented employees, participation in the program is subject to agreement by the applicable union.

Employees who wish to provide comments on the proposed program extension may submit them to employeerelations@ucsd.edu no later than June 4, 2012.
