The Registrar's Office is sending this reminder announcement and update about eGrades, the new electronic grading system for UC San Diego for Spring 2012. This is a campus wide launch; all instructors will use eGrades to submit grades and grade changes beginning this quarter.
The eGrades system replaces the Scantron bubble sheets!
The new eGrades system will be available beginning on Monday, June 4, 2012, which will allow users to review their course sections and to designate Authorized Graders if they choose to use this function. Grades for Spring 2012 can be entered directly into eGrades, or imported from a grade file. Instructors can designate Authorized Graders to enter grades, but must review and submit the grades themselves. The grade entry period for Spring 2012 opens at 8:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2012 and closes at 11:59 pm (PDT) on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
Grades not submitted during the grade entry period will be recorded as blank and will have to be entered as grade changes.
