SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Lyman Lane Street Repair –
FD&C Project: Structural & Materials Engineering Building

Project Description/Location:

Sealing and striping of Lyman Lane, from Voigt Drive to Artist Lane, will occur July 3, 5 and 6, 2012. This work is part of the final construction activities related to completion of the Structural and Materials Engineering Building. Bounded by Matthews Lane, Voigt Drive, and Lyman Lane, this multi-disciplined facility will provide approximately 165,000 s.f. of laboratories, offices, conference rooms, and visual arts gallery/presentation rooms in a four-story structure with basement.

Immediate Street Impacts for Construction Work:

Commencing on July 3, 2012 and continuing until July 6, 2012, vehicular traffic on Lyman Lane between Voigt Drive and Artist Lane may be impacted at times to accommodate construction activities; flagmen will be present to direct traffic when necessary. Detour signs for vehicles and pedestrian traffic may also be posted. No work will occur on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
