11th Anniversary Commemoration of September 11

In honor of the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, a wreath will be placed at the commemorative tree on Warren Mall at the foot of the Snake Path at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11. Billiekai Boughton, Chair of the UC San Diego Veterans Association, will place the wreath and it will remain at the site until sunset.

The carillon at Geisel Library will ring at noon to initiate a moment of silence, and Scott Paulson of Geisel Library’s Art Library has composed a special carillon peal for the occasion.
