SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Construction and site improvements for Ropes Course Relocation Project

Project Description/Location:

Beginning on or about January 18, 2013 and continuing through February 28, 2013, construction of the Ropes Course site will occur within the existing Eucalyptus Grove. Having received approval of Campus Committees, the Ropes Course currently on East Campus will be relocated to the North Campus in the Eucalyptus Park in the next 4 weeks. Additionally, as part of this project, there will be 650 new trees planted to replace those not currently thriving. This portion of the project will continue to July 2013.

Immediate Street Impacts:

The main entry/exit for the construction site will be off Hopkins Drive. Intermittent impacts to vehicular traffic on Hopkins Drive should be anticipated when construction traffic enters and leaves the site. Pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular traffic will be controlled by flagmen or traffic control as needed during this project.
