Library Services during the 2013 Campus Winter Holiday Closure

As part of the campus-wide Winter Holiday Closure, all UC San Diego Library facilities (the Geisel Library, the Biomedical Library Building, and the Scripps Archives & Library Annex) will be closed from Saturday, December 21, 2013, through Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Library facilities will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2014.

The Library's Hours web pages, http://libraries.ucsd.edu/hours/index.html, have been updated to reflect library hours for both before and after the holiday closure.

Many online resources, including databases, electronic journals, and electronic books, will remain accessible during the closure. Students can access library-licensed resources during the closure via the campus proxy server or VPN, http://libraries.ucsd.edu/services/computing/remote-access/.
