SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Galbraith Lecture Hall & Interior Renovation

Project Description/Location:
Lifting and locating a new air handling unit on the Galbraith Hall building will occur on Saturday, February 16, 2013. This work is part of the construction activities related to the Galbraith Lecture Hall project. The re-purposing of the CLICS facility will provide a new 421- seat lecture hall facility within the existing atrium, as well as provide additional improvements for surrounding support spaces such as studios, student study, conference rooms, offices, restrooms and lactation room.

Immediate Street Impacts:
On February 16, 2013, vehicular traffic on La Jolla Village Drive, Expedition Way, Scholar’s Drive South and North Torrey Pines Road may be impacted at times to accommodate construction activities; flagmen will be present to direct traffic when necessary. Detour signs for vehicles and pedestrian traffic may also be posted.
