KEY ADMINISTRATORS/KEY SUPPORT STAFF (excluding UCSD Medical Center)
UC San Diego staff whose ethnic or gender identity has been entered as "unknown" in the Campus Payroll/Personnel System will receive a survey next month from the Equal Opportunity/Staff Affirmative Action Office. The completion of this survey is voluntary and is being conducted to comply with federal laws that require UC San Diego as a federal contractor to collect data on gender and ethnicity for all of its employees.
The survey is particularly important since campus efforts to collect this information are a major focus of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs' audit of UC San Diego's compliance practices currently underway.
