CONSTRUCTION ALERT - La Jolla Medical Center – Campus Point Drive & Medical Center Drive – Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts

Project Description/Location:
The Medical Center Switch Station project team will be constructing driveway and sidewalk improvements at the intersection of Campus Point Drive and Medical Center Drive on the La Jolla Medical Center Campus. Traffic lanes will be closed for approximately two weeks while construction of the new driveway is underway.

Immediate Street Impacts:
The right-turn lane, bike lanes and sidewalk at the intersection of Campus Point Drive and Medical Center Drive will be closed from August 27, 2013 through September 9, 2013. Signage and traffic control will be provided for the duration of the work. A temporary pedestrian detour will be provided during this closure. Bicyclists and motorists will need to “Share the Road” where the bike lane is closed.
