As part of our continuous efforts to provide the best IT services to UC San Diego, we have scheduled a major upgrade to the campus telephone system. Among other things, the new telephone system has a smaller hardware footprint and will lower energy consumption and maintenance costs.
During the upgrade, campus telephone services will be unavailable from 10:00 PM on Friday, September 6th until 8:00 AM Saturday, September 7th. With this upgrade, we aim at delivering the best telephone services possible to the campus community.
While all changes are compatible with existing telephone equipment, we anticipate that in some cases you may need to reset one or all of the following three phone features:
1. Accept 2nd Call
Please follow the instructions on the campus BLINK portal. You may search the BLINK site by using the phrase "Campus Phone Upgrade" for the instructions and other related information about the telephone upgrade. Please note that we are deliberately not providing a link to that page so that this message is not mistaken as a phishing scam email.
