SUBJECT:    2014 UC San Diego Women's Conference - May 6, 2014

The Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) invites UC San Diego staff and faculty to attend the 6th Annual UC San Diego Women's Conference: (Re)Defining the UC San Diego Woman: "Be the change you want to see…" -Gandhi

Network with colleagues, attend informative workshops, and listen to guest speakers present on topics that are important to women today and in the future. The Women's Conference is offering various sessions throughout the day to inspire change for personal and professional growth. The 6th Annual UC San Diego Women's Conference will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, between 8:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Price Center West Ballroom.

In addition to numerous distinguished faculty and staff leading sessions throughout the day, we are pleased to announce Managing Director, Lauray MacElhern, and Research Director and Preventive Medicine Physician Medical Director, Dr. Gordon Saxe, from UC San Diego's Center for Integrative Medicine as the keynote speakers for 2014. Lauray MacElhern and Dr. Gordon will teach how to reclaim one's own health while making the connection to what is called the "Eat Green" movement to better health and well-being for ourselves and our world.
