The University invites comments on the proposed revisions to campus policy – Workers’ Compensation.
The University's self-insured Workers' Compensation Program was established in accordance with the Workers' Compensation Laws of California. This Program provides benefits to employees who are injured as a result of work related activities.
In summary, revisions include: updating the policy with current information, including contact numbers and web links; outlining the Transitional Return to Work program; and formatting updates.

The proposed revised policy will apply to all University employees, including student employees and registered volunteers at the San Diego campus. It defines the reporting procedures and responsibilities of those involved in the process.
This is a formal revision of the current campus policy relating to Workers Compensation. Please send any comments or questions about the proposed Policy in writing to Paula Johnson (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the Policy & Records Administration office, no later than December 05, 2015.
