OCGA Holiday Closure Dates, 2016

During the holiday season, UC San Diego Campus (excluding the hospitals and clinics) will officially be closed Saturday December 24, 2016 through Tuesday January 3, 2017. OCGA offices will be closed during this period and the contract and grant officers and analysts will not be available to review and submit proposals, or take action on award negotiations.

Principal Investigators and Department/ORU administrators should be mindful of this closure when planning the submission of proposals with deadlines that fall between these dates, including deadlines in early January 2017.

Published proposal deadlines between December 24, 2016 through Jan 3, 2017 must comply with the following timelines:
. Proposal package with draft science must be submitted to OCGA no later than 8:00 a.m. Monday December 18.
. Final science section of proposal along with final version of the proposal must be submitted to OCGA no later than 12:00 pm (noon) Thursday, December 22, 2016.

We understand that the campus closure may represent a challenge for proposal submission activity, and we will work diligently to serve our research community to meet these deadlines.
