ALL ACADEMICS, STAFF AND STUDENTS AT UC SAN DIEGO
The Office of Student Conduct is proposing a set of revisions to the UC San Diego Student Conduct Code and Student Conduct Standards to go into effect for Fall 2016. Some of the key proposed changes include:
· Revising and realigning the Student Conduct Review process to have all Reviews handled by the Community Standards Board or a Review Officer.
· Revising and clarifying the interim suspension process. · Renaming “Notice of Inappropriate Conduct” as “Notice of Informal Warning”.
· Revising the Student Organization Policy of the Student Conduct Standards to more clearly delineate the roles of Students and non-Students in Registered Student Organizations.
The proposed changes have been reviewed and discussed by the Student Conduct Standards Group. After incorporating feedback from the group, the proposed changes are now available for review and comment by the greater campus community.
