RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING OFFICE OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES May 10, 2016
In support of the regional GO by BIKE initiative, UC San Diego will participate in the 2016 Bike to Work Day event the morning of Friday, May 20. Join thousands of your fellow Tritons and other San Diegans by participating in this nationally-recognized event, which is part of National Bike Month. More than 100 pit stops are being planned throughout San Diego County for Bike to Work Day, offering bike riders the opportunity to rest and enjoy free snacks. UC San Diego will host a pit stop from 6-10 a.m. in Town Square near the Student Services Center. Refreshments including bagels, muffins, fruit and coffee will be provided by Transportation Services and Housing, Dining and Hospitality. Raffle prizes will also be offered, while supplies last.
Register and log your Bike to Work Day trip by May 20 using the iCommute
TripTracker tool and you will be entered in a drawing to win the
regional sweepstakes prize. Visit Biking is a healthy, environmentally-friendly, cost-saving commute choice. With thousands of miles of bikeways in the San Diego region and the expansion of bike paths on campus, biking gets you where you need to go. We hope that you will join in the fun and GO by BIKE!
