Thank You For Participating In Triton Days 2016

Congratulations and thank you to the hundreds of UC San Diego community members who came together to make Triton Day and Transfer Triton Day hugely successful. Together we welcomed an estimated 23,000 newly admitted undergraduates and their families to campus. Thank you to all who contributed their time and talent to showcase UC San Diego as a student-centered, research-focused, service-oriented public university. A record number of representatives from the undergraduate colleges, academic departments, programs and research units, student support services, student organizations and enrichment programs came out to offer admitted students a glimpse into their futures as members of the Triton family.

From the grounds and custodial crew, to the faculty welcoming students into their departments and colleges, to the countless student organizations and staff greeting families, showcasing programs and services and providing tours, we say thank you. We also commend those who participated in this year's Early Calling Campaigns and numerous spring yield activities.

The yield of a talented and diverse undergraduate class is the responsibility of our entire campus. Thanks to those who participated in these critical events, that goal is being met. We appreciate your involvement! Please accept our sincere gratitude.
