ALL ACADEMICS, STAFF, AND STUDENTS AT UC SAN DIEGO

SUBJECT:    Share Your Ideas on Saving Energy

UC San Diego is striving to become carbon neutral by 2025. While the campus is working hard to reduce carbon emissions through operational and infrastructure changes, we can't reach our goal without every single member of our community making individual choices to help reduce our energy use.

Now, we want to hear from you: What can UC San Diego do to better support you in using less energy on campus?

All ideas are welcome whether they relate to recycling, energy conservation or efficiency, transportation, waste minimization or water conservation. Share your suggestions through IdeaWave at the following link: https://ideawave.ucsd.edu

New ideas can be submitted beginning today through May 23, 2016. From May 24-30, 2016, you can continue to vote and comment on suggested ideas. An evaluation team will then review the ideas and comments for possible inclusion in the Climate Action Plan, which is being updated by the Sustainability Department and will help the campus move in the direction of carbon neutrality.

Thank you for your participation. We look forward to hearing your ideas!
