The new Biological and Physical Sciences Building, located along Ridge Walk at the junction of Revelle and Muir Colleges and at the western edge of campus, will provide approximately 130,000 new gross square feet for biology and chemistry research, instructional space, an auditorium, and a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility. The reconstruction of Urey Green and a pedestrian bridge connection to Pacific Hall are also included as part of this project.
Construction of the Biological and Physical Sciences Building will begin in early August 2016 with an anticipated completion of July 2018. Construction impacts will include perimeter fencing of the project site including Urey Green. Access to Pacific Hall and Urey Hall will not be impacted. Ridge Walk will remain open during the construction period.

There will be minor bicycle and pedestrian impacts due to the project construction. Please reference the map link below for bicycle and pedestrian routes around the project site.
