SUBJECT:   CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Revelle College Hardscape Runoff Improvements

Project Description/Location:

The Revelle College Hardscape Runoff Improvements project will begin construction December 11, 2017 with expected completion by the end of June 2018. This project includes removal of turf areas and construction of new landscape designed to collect and treat storm water runoff from Revelle College. Low impact development storm water treatment areas will be constructed to filter pollutants from upstream areas, reduce and treat dry weather flows, reduce the velocity and volume of runoff from the watershed and reduce the consumption of domestic water by use of drought tolerant landscaping.

Immediate Bike Lane and Pedestrian Impacts:

The project will be phased to minimize the disruption of the existing bike and pedestrian traffic from N. Torrey Pines Road leading up the Theater District/Revelle College. Please observe posted detours when walking or cycling in this area.
