ALL ACADEMICS, STAFF, AND STUDENTS AT UC SAN DIEGO

SUBJECT:    Genesee Ave Closed Feb. 10-13 Due to Trolley Construction

Genesee Avenue will close completely from La Jolla Village Drive to Nobel Drive beginning 11:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10 through 5:30 a.m. on Monday, February 13. The closure is due to construction on the Mid-Coast Trolley extension, a project of the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), which is scheduled to begin service to UC San Diego and the University City community in 2021.

During the closure, please use the detour via Regents Road and Towne Centre Drive. To access the Costa Verde Center, use the Nobel Drive entrance.
