The Office of Research Affairs invites all faculty across campus to attend one of three informational Federal Research Budget Town Hall Meetings to be held next Thursday, April 13, 2017. The meetings are scheduled in different areas across campus, details below. All UC San Diego academics are welcome to attend the meeting that is most convenient to have a discussion of the current state of funding and the federal decision making process.
8:00 to 9:00 am Thursday, April 13, 2017
10:00 to 11:00 am Thursday, April 13, 2017
5:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday, April 13, 2017
Executive Director for Government Research Relations Angela Phillips Diaz will be on campus from her office in Washington DC to provide up-to-date information. These Town Hall Meetings are designed to provide our faculty with the best available information and answer questions during these uncertain budget times.
Additional meetings will be held later this month to focus on the needs and concerns of our Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars.
