UC San Diego’s 11th Annual Asian and Pacific-Islander American Celebration

You are invited to join UC San Diego's faculty, staff and students as we celebrate the 11th Annual Asian and Pacific-Islander American Heritage Celebration. The month-long commemoration honors the culture, traditions and history of Asian and Pacific-Islander Americans through performance and visual arts, film and literature. This year’s theme is “The Stories We Tell, The Memories We Share.”

In recognition of this annual event, two hours of administrative leave with pay have been approved so that employees may participate in a UC San Diego Asian and Pacific-Islander American celebration activity. Supervisors are asked to allow employees to attend, as long as the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties or patient care.
