SUBJECT:   Innovative Learning Technology Initiative (ILTI) Request for Proposals 6 (RFP 6) OPEN

This message is to inform you that the Innovative Learning Technology Initiative (ILTI) Request for Proposals 6 (RFP 6) is now open and will remain open until Monday, April 2, 2018 at 6:00 pm, Pacific Time.

The Innovative Learning Technology Initiative (ILTI) invites UC ladder-rank faculty, Teaching Professors, and Assistant Teaching Professors to submit proposals as Principal Investigators (PIs) for fully online courses to be offered during the academic year across multiple campuses and without any additional fees to students. Additionally, ILTI will accept a limited number of proposals for hybrid courses. Summer offerings are allowed but do not count toward the offering requirement.

Funding Opportunities in RFP 6:
Funding will be available for:
* Design and development of fully online courses
* Opening online courses to students enrolling from multiple UC campuses
* Design and development of hybrid courses
* Opening hybrid courses to students enrolling from other UC campuses

Funding Limits:
For RFP 6, the maximum award is $110K for fully online quarter courses, $117K for fully online semester courses. Depending on the course design, hybrid courses may be funded at a lower level.

Timeline:
RFP 6 opened July 3, 2017 and closes Monday, April 2, 2018 at 6:00 pm, Pacific Time, with the following submission review dates:

* September 30, 2017
* December 31, 2017
* April 2, 2018

RFP 6 proposals should be submitted through proposalCENTRAL: https://proposalcentral.altum. com/ using the templates at proposalCENTRAL and following the guidance provided in Appendices A, B, C, D and E.
