Overnight Closures of I-5 Due to Gilman Bridge Construction

Interstate 5 will close overnight between the Interstate 805 merge to La Jolla Village Drive on varying dates throughout September and October 2017. This is due to construction on the Gilman Bridge, which will unite existing campus roads on both sides of the I-5 freeway: Gilman Drive on the west and Medical Center Drive on the east. Details on the closure are as follows:

Southbound closure:

. 9/10 - 9/14: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly
. 9/17 - 9/21: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly
. 9/24 - 9/28: 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly

. 10/1 - 10/5: 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly
. 10/8 - 10/12: 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly
