CONSTRUCTION ALERT – East Campus Sports Field Permanent Closure – La Jolla

Project Location/Description:

In an effort to expand the parking options on the UC San Diego Health, La Jolla campus, the East Campus Sports Field (soccer / archery field), which is located on top of the Campus Point Parking Structure, will be permanently closed and replaced with of a new parking lot. The closure will be in effect at 6:00am on January 29, 2018 when construction begins. The archery range has been relocated to the newly opened East Campus Recreational Area field.

Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, and Pedestrian Impacts: The East Campus sports field (soccer / archery field) will be permanently closed beginning January 29th. The Campus Point Parking Structure will remain accessible throughout the construction period. Vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic on Medical Center Drive will not be impacted.
