Senate service by faculty like you is the key to shared governance. Senate service is also a great way to meet and network with faculty all across campus, while fulfilling your service requirement for advancement.
We invite you to update your Service Preference Profile on the Academic Senate’s website to register your willingness to serve on Senate committees.
The following enhancements have been made to the system.
* Senate members can indicate that they would like to serve without specifying a committee.
* Members can re-affirm their current preferences for the coming year.
* Members can indicate that they would like to continue serving on the committees that they are serving on now.

The Senate will be hosting an event for Senate faculty members who are interested in learning more about Senate service. The event will be held at the Faculty Club from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2017. If you would like additional information about the committees or Senate service, join us and your colleagues on the Senate’s Committee on Committees, who appoint faculty to serve, for this informative social event.
