CONSTRUCTION ALERT - Intermittent Closure of North Lane of Westbound Gilman Drive at Library Walk Intersection December 17 through January 4

Project Description/Location:

The campus is installing a new waterline connection near Library Walk and Gilman Drive to improve system redundancy and flexibility in providing potable water throughout the campus.

Immediate Street Traffic, Bike Lane and Pedestrian Impacts:

The north lane of westbound Gilman Drive at the Library Walk intersection will be closed intermittently to vehicle traffic Monday, December 17 through Friday, January 4 between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. while workers install a new waterline. Motorists and cyclists may experience delays and should watch for signage and traffic control. A portion of the sidewalk on the north side of Gilman Drive west of Library Walk will be closed and pedestrians will be rerouted. The crosswalk at that intersection will remain open.
