| SUBJECT: | Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program |
I am pleased to announce the nomination period for the 33rd annual UC San Diego Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Program. The program recognizes ten career employees in Professional and Support Staff (PSS) positions who have demonstrated distinguished service and contributions to the UC San Diego and San Diego communities.
All members of the campus community are encouraged to nominate their staff colleagues who are deserving of this special acknowledgment. The deadline for receipt of nominations is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Program guidelines, criteria and nomination instructions are available at:
A review panel consisting of representatives from all Vice Chancellor areas and the UC San Diego Health System will evaluate eligible nominations and recommend ten PSS award recipients to me.
On Monday, May 21, 2018, I will present awards to each recipient during the annual Exemplary Staff Employee of the Year Award Ceremony.
