Proposed New Presidential Policy On Disclosure & Conflicts Of Interest In Private Sponsors Of Research And Proposed Revised APM - 028

The Office of the President has proposed a new Presidential Policy for all personnel on Disclosure of Financial Interests and Management of Conflicts of Interest in Private Sponsors of Research (Policy) and has also revised APM - 028, Disclosure of Financial Interest in Private Sponsors of Research.

The new Policy provides information on the conflict of interest disclosure requirements under the Fair Political Practices Commission and will not result in any changes to our current UC San Diego practice of performing a substantive review of conflict of interest disclosures. APM - 028 will continue to provide important principles guiding the conduct of sponsored research for academic appointees.
