Share Your Ideas about Campus Childcare Services

If you have ideas about childcare services on campus, we want to hear them. Within the context of the campus Strategic Plan and the 2018 campus Long Range Development Plan update, childcare services have been identified as a top priority. These essential services play a role in supporting our efforts to recruit and retain outstanding faculty, students and staff. Over the next five years, UC San Diego anticipates enrollment growth up to 40,000 students. As we work to transform UC San Diego, we want to identify ways to meet the campus community’s childcare needs.

If you are a parent, or you are planning to have children in the next few years, we want to hear your ideas about childcare services. Share your suggestions through IdeaWave at: https://ideawave.ucsd.edu

You can submit your ideas today through May 30, 2018. Check back regularly to review your ideas and provide feedback by submitting comments to your peers’ ideas. From May 31 through June 4, 2018, you can vote and comment on suggested ideas. After the campaign ends, an evaluation team will review the ideas and comments for possible inclusion in future childcare planning efforts.
