CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Central Utility Plant - Chiller Delivery

Project Location/Description:

Two chillers will be installed at the West Campus Central Utility Plant (located just northwest of the Gilman Drive and Scholars Drive intersection). In order to provide access for delivery of the chillers, Herbert York Lane, south of York Hall and west of the Central Utility Plant will be barricaded from 6:00 am, Wednesday, June 6th to 6:00 pm, Thursday, June 7th to allow for wide load delivery truck access and a crane set up to deliver the new chillers.

Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, and Pedestrian Impacts:

There will be no access to Herbert York Lane and York Hall shipping and receiving area and Parking Lot P108 during construction activity. In the event of an emergency, the road will be cleared to allow for emergency vehicle access if required. All vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian are asked to avoid this area during construction.
