SUBJECT:    2018-2019 UC Salary Program

President Napolitano has approved the 2018-19 salary program for
academics. The new salary rates will be reflected on the August 1, 2018
paycheck. The 2018-19 salary program includes the following adjustments
to the salary scales, eligible off-scales, and above scale salaries:

Professor and equivalent titles (includes HSCP and Professional Research
series): 4%

Lecturer with Security of Employment series: 4%. This includes a 3%
adjustment to the salary scales and an additional 1% that will be issued
as a market off-scale component.

Unrepresented academic series: 3%

Junior Specialist: 3.5%

Graduate Student Researchers: Scales will be adjusted effective October
1, 2018. A separate announcement will be sent later with more details.

Exclusions: Appointees with by-agreement salaries, including visiting
titles, are not eligible for these salary increases. Off-scales due for
tapering will be reduced as per campus practice.

Represented Academic Personnel: Scale increases are set by the terms of
the collective bargaining contracts. Below are approved contractual
increases:

Unit 18 Lecturers: 2.5% adjustment to the salary scales effective July
1, 2018
