Senate Service Event

Dear Colleagues:

The Academic Senate will be hosting an event to promote Senate service at the Faculty Club from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Service on Senate committees is the main way faculty participate in the crucial task of shared governance of the campus and the University.

If you have not previously served and would like to learn more about the Senate, please join me and your colleagues from the Senate’s Committee on Committees, who appoint faculty to serve, for this social and informational event. If you have previously served, you are welcome to attend too. I encourage you to bring a new faculty member - or more! - from your department to attend with you.
