ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON SUSTAINABILITY

As part of UC San Diego’s Earth Month celebration in April, the UC San Diego Advisory Committee on Sustainability will recognize individuals and groups (teams, departments, units, student organizations, etc.) that have made our campus more sustainable. The committee is accepting nominations for the annual Sustainability Awards until 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019.
Nominees must be affiliated closely with UC San Diego and have worked outside the capacity of their job descriptions to advance one or both of the Advisory Committee on Sustainability's goals to:
Make sustainability part of UC San Diego's ongoing education, research, planning, operation and/or outreach programs
Share information about UC San Diego's education, research, planning, operational and/or outreach activities related to environmental stewardship and sustainability with the campus community and the public
Nominators may submit more than one nomination in these categories:
· Outstanding Student
To nominate someone, or yourself, please complete the online nomination form at http://sustain.ucsd.edu/news/sustainability-awards.html. All nominations must be received by the March 11 deadline
Award winners will be recognized at the 2019 Sustainability Awards ceremony from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 at the Loft.
