New Retirement Administration Platform

On February 22, 2019, the UC Office of President (UCOP) launched the
implementation of a new retirement administration recordkeeping system.
The new system has enhanced functionality and security and includes a
new platform with self-service tools. Later this year, UC Retirement At
Your Service (UCRAYS) will replace the self-service tools accessed via
At Your Service Online (AYSO). A brief news article on UCnet announced

One immediate impact is the At Your Service Online (AYSO) Retirement
Estimator only contains information through January 2019. Until the new
platform is launched, data will not be added to the current Retirement
Estimator.

To facilitate the smoothest possible transition, changes were made to
access that the Benefits Office previously had. The new platform will
enable faculty and staff to submit their retirement paperwork directly
to the Retirement Administration Services Center (RASC). Benefits staff
will continue to be available to offer retirement services upon request;
however, they will need assistance from faculty and staff to access
their retirement information.

We are committed to providing retirement counseling, side-by-side
guidance and education to faculty and staff. We value customer service
and want to ensure that our faculty and staff understand their
retirement options prior to submitting their retirement paperwork
directly to RASC.
