SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Bonner Hall Utilities Roadwork at the Intersection of Gilman Drive and Eucalyptus Grove Lane and Eucalyptus Grove Lane to Bonner Hall

Project Description/Location:

Utilities Roadwork is scheduled for Monday, March 11 through Friday,
March 15, 2019 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. This upgrade will require the
digging of holes in the pavement to confirm the location of underground
utilities at the intersection of Gilman Drive and Eucalyptus Grove Lane
and west to Bonner Hall.

The Condensate Recovery Project will capture air conditioning condensate
from York, Mayer, Urey, and Bonner Halls air handling units and will
pump the recovered water into the campus reclaim system for non-potable
usage including landscape irrigation. The collected water will be routed
from Bonner Hall to the campus reclaim water distribution system on the
East side of Gilman Drive and will allow a utility savings and green
project that is anticipated to recover roughly 4,000,000 gallons of
water annually for reclaim use on campus.

Immediate Street Traffic, Bike Lane, and Pedestrian impacts:

During the construction week, there will be traffic delays on Gilman
Drive between Mandeville Lane and Osler Lane. Vehicles can expect
intermittent closures on either the north or south bound lanes as well
as delays on Eucalyptus Grove Lane at Bonner Hall and parking lot P113.
Flaggers will be present to divert traffic during any closures. Bicycle
lanes and pedestrian sidewalks will also be impacted. Please follow
signage and allow extra time while traveling on Gilman Drive.

Please see the attached map for the impacted areas:
