Subject:    Email Delivery and Security Upgrades

We are pleased to announce an upgrade to the campus and Health email
environment. The upgrade will increase the timeliness of email delivery
and provide improved email security. During the next several months, we
will be introducing additional layers of email security to stop malware,
phishing and other forms of email fraud. As new security measures are
put into place, the blink documentation listed below will be updated.

On April 9, the first of these services will go into effect, including
for UC San Diego Health personnel. You will notice a new spam quarantine
digest that will arrive in your inbox as spam is detected. More
information on this new quarantine and email security can be found at:
https://blink.ucsd.edu/technology/email/security/index.html

For any additional questions, please contact the Service Desk at
servicedesk@ucsd.edu or 858-246-4357.
