SUBJECT:    UC President Search Town Hall, Feb. 4

The UC Board of Regents has launched a global search to recruit a new president for the University of California. Board Chair John Pérez has appointed a special committee to consider and recommend candidates. Information about the presidential search is posted online at: https://presidentialsearch.universityofcalifornia.edu/index.html.

The special committee will be hosting a UC President Search Town Hall on the UC San Diego campus next Tuesday, February 4 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Faculty Club. This will be an opportunity for the UC San Diego campus community to provide input on the key attributes, qualities, and priorities for the incoming president.

Members of the public, stakeholders and interested parties are encouraged to inform the Secretary and Chief of Staff of their intent to address the Special Committee in advance of the meeting by calling 510-987-9220 or by sending an email to regentsoffice@ucop.edu.
