SUBJECT:    New Centralized Service & Support Portal for Multiple Business Units

We are pleased to announce a new, centralized Service & Support Portal
that will provide one place for faculty, staff and students to access
help for business services and IT needs. The portal will also host
support services for new systems coming online as part of the Enterprise
Systems Renewal (ESR) program.

The Service & Support Portal goes online January 13 at support.ucsd.edu.
Over the next few months, support provided via ASK and other platforms
will transition into the new Service & Support Portal in preparation for
ESR system deployments.

ABOUT THE SERVICE & SUPPORT PORTAL AND CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Transitioning to the Service & Support Portal is the first step toward
offering a comprehensive, best-in-class, client-relationship management
strategy and solution for UC San Diego and its affiliates. By offering
one flexible technology, our teams will be able to offer a more
personalized and engaging client experience that will provide:

· Broader insight to our clients’ needs through case analytics
and dashboards

· Ease of transferring and escalating service and support
requests between groups to optimize fulfillment

· Collaboration between teams focused on building and nurturing
client relationships
