CA COVID Notify — Update to Apple iOS 14.2 to Continue Exposure Notifications

Thank you to all who have committed to protecting friends, family and community from COVID-19 by installing California COVID Notify on your iOS or Android device!

Apple iOS users must update their iPhone to iOS 14.2 to ensure seamless participation in the pilot. If users do not upgrade to iOS 14.2, their iOS pilot profile will expire 8 weeks after installation (starting Monday, November 16) and exposures will no longer be tracked.

Android users are not impacted by this update. No action is needed.

Apple iOS users who have not yet joined the pilot can easily join by upgrading to iOS 14.2 and selecting Settings > Exposure Notifications > United States > California to complete the CA COVID Notify onboarding. Click here for more information.

Together, we CAN help slow the spread of COVID-19.
